Wedding Favors

Wedding favors are one of the more interesting aspects of planning a wedding but often left a little late in the preparations. As a rule of thumb when organizing events, keep things simple as they have a habit of becoming complicated without any human intervention. This is a part of the arrangements, like the guest list and seating arrangement that will often cause unnecessary stress when there doesn't have to be any.

Flowers are undoubtedly one easy wedding favor you can give to your guests. The preparation for flowers is almost non existent other than deciding on what flowers to use which can be ordered reasonably close to the big day.

You might consider giving your guests a single red rose as a favor and this is extremely appropriate because a rose is a symbol of love plus roses do not need to be wrapped. Placing the rose on the wedding reception table where the guest are seated is a nice touch and doesn't need to be done until the last minute.

If you want to stick with a favorite easy wedding favor then use candy; it's always a safe bet and it can be made to look attractive if nicely designed boxes or tins are used for storage. However, there is an even easier way to give candy and also help you to save money on centerpieces. All you require to make this successful is to use a large glass bowl and fill it with all your favorite candy for the guests to enjoy.

Each wedding guest can then have a small bag or box to place their favorite candy in to eat when they like. Of course this means that you won't have to wrap anything yourself but it should get the thumbs up from everyone.

To give your guests something they can keep why not leave a small picture frame on the table. Often when receptions have large guest lists, wrapping wedding favors can seem like a nightmare so needs to be avoided if possible. For this to work you need to make things simple so why not save having to wrap the gifts by using them as placeholders; and who would anyone blame you?

A different but still an easy wedding favor is to supply every guest with a picture of themselves arriving at the wedding reception using the services of a professional photographer armed with a digital camera. All the photographer needs to do is to have a printer with him so he can give each guest their photo before they leave later in the day. Everyone will appreciate this wedding favor as it is a reminder they can cherish for many years. Many photographers will also have a projector so could arrange a looping slide show of all the photos he had taken of the guests.
