Edible Wedding Favors
If you want to give your wedding guests an enjoyable gift at your wedding then edible wedding favors are always a winner. It doesn't matter what type you eventually decide on a sweet option or a savory one, they will still be enjoyed. One of the most popular is a simple chocolate bar with a personalized wrapper. Although you can use just as easily use plain, milk or white chocolate filled with an almond or raisin center. Most wedding candy wrappers will have the details of the bride and groom plus the date and venue of the wedding which can be kept as a memento of the special day.
Just to complete the favor, why not have the picture of the bride and groom printed on the wrapper as well? Of course, tins containing candy are always another option as an edible wedding favor that couples can consider if they do not want to use chocolate candy bars. Once again, it is easy to have the tin given the personal touch with the bride and grooms details on it. The guests may eat the candy soon after the wedding but they can keep the candy tin as a reminder of your wedding; they can use it to store other small items such as change, sewing needles, rubber bands or virtually anything which is small enough to be stored in them. Candy is a very popular choice when a bride and groom are considering giving edible wedding favors.
By using a large glass bowl in the center of every table, the bride and groom can fill them with their own choices of candy for everyone to share. You can also supply a small themed container on the table for every wedding guest. Then the guests can fill their containers with the candy before they leave the reception later. An unusual edible wedding favor is a cookie that can be made especially for the day. You can select cookies which are rather plain in nature but place them in keepsake boxes with the bride and grooms' names as well as the date of the wedding.
Current technology allows for a photo to be printed on the cookie so a couple could choose to do this as an alternative to a presentation box. There are many bakeries that can make these cookies for you in a variety of sizes and shapes; you just simply need to select a design and give the bakery a photo to use in the design process. Yet another option is to hand out edible wedding favors based on popular teas, coffees and cocoas. You don't have to offer the normal ranges either as there are so many specialty types available from around the world that it will look as if you have gone out of your way to provide something different. A picture and other wedding information can also be placed on the box or container because it adds that touch of individuality. With a little bit of imagination it is surprising how effective even simple ideas can be.
